At Smart Start Learning Center in West Valley City, our mission is to provide a nurturing environment for children to grow emotionally, socially, intellectually, and physically. Founded by Marcie Bouwman, our center is dedicated to creating a positive learning atmosphere filled with exciting experiences for children at every developmental stage.

Curriculum Highlights
Infant Room: On their own schedule and engaging in a monthly lesson plan.
Toddler Room: Still on their schedule with a monthly lesson plan.
2’s Room: Beginning to have more structure and becoming more independent.
Early Preschool (3’s): Following Creative Curriculum, Second Steps, and Conscious Discipline.
Preschool (4’s): Same curriculum as the 3’s class but going more in-depth.
Kinder (5’s): Following the same three curriculums, delving deeper than the 3’s and 4’s.
Graders: Homework after school, followed by free play; Summer camp for continued learning and growth.
